About Us

Associated Students is the official voice of the student body for the California State University, Long Beach campus.

Meet your Representatives

Since 1956, Student Government leaders have advocated on behalf of the student body and improved the quality of life on campus.

Programs & Services

Student Government advocate for student rights, support student-led initiatives through grants, promote civic engagement via voter registration, and educate students on their legal and academic rights.

Get Involved

Students can apply for leadership roles, volunteer with Beach Team, or seek grants to become LBSU Student Officers, representing and advocating for over 40,000 peers while contributing to their growth and leaving a lasting legacy.
